Who Committed the Murder?

THE KILLER: SHREYA MALHOTRA Interior Designer / Vikram's Girlfriend

HOW TO SOLVE:

1. The Miscarriage Report: Dr. Sharma sent a miscarriage report to Rajveer on October 17, and Rajveer paid him ₹2,50,000 that same day. But Priya didn't tell Rajveer about her pregnancy until October 19. So whose medical records was Rajveer investigating? It was Shreya's old records from after Arjun's death.
2. The WhatsApp Blackmail: Rajveer's messages to Shreya reveal he was blackmailing her: "Do you think Vikram would still be with you if he knew who you really are?" and "You know very well what would make him walk away from you."
3. Shreya's Threat: Rajveer's final response: "My conscience is clear. This was my final warning." — sent at 12:34 PM on the day of the murder shows he pushed Shreya into a corner, and she took the step to kill him.

What Was the Motive for the Murder?

THE FULL STORY:

Years Ago: Shreya Malhotra was secretly engaged to Arjun Rathore, Vikram's older brother. They had been dating since they were young, and she became pregnant with his child.

Arjun's Death: Arjun called his mother to say he wanted to introduce her to his fiancée. That same afternoon, Arjun fell from the 12th floor of a Rathore Realty construction site. It was ruled an "accident."

The Loss: Two weeks after Arjun's death, Shreya lost their baby. The trauma of losing her fiancé caused her to miscarry. She lost everything in those fourteen days.

Years Later: Shreya eventually started dating Vikram — Arjun's younger brother. She never told Vikram about her past with his brother.

TIMELINE OF THE MURDER:

12:29 PM: Rajveer texts Priya to come to his farmhouse at 6:30 PM. Shreya learns about this meeting through phone communications with Sanjay.

5:01 PM: Sunita calls Vikram to say Rajveer wants to meet them. Shreya decides to "give them privacy" and leaves.

~6:00 PM: Shreya arrives at the farmhouse BEFORE Priya. She knows Rajveer is expecting Priya and the house will be empty.

~6:15 PM: Shreya drugs the water on Rajveer's desk with sedatives — the same water both Rajveer and Priya will drink.

WHY NO ACCOMPLICE:

Sanjay Malhotra: While he was paying Priya for information about Rajveer, he had no knowledge of or involvement in the murder. His alibi (FitLife Gym at 9:42 PM and The Liquor Fort at 10:02 PM) checks out. The information exchange was purely business espionage.

Why Shreya Acted Alone: The murder was deeply personal. Shreya's secret — that she was once engaged to Arjun and pregnant with his child — was known only to her and Rajveer. Involving anyone else would risk exposing the very secret she was killing to protect.

Her Advantages: Shreya had intimate knowledge of the Rathore family, access to the farmhouse through her relationship with Vikram, and knowledge of Rajveer's gun collection. She didn't need help.
